You may not have heard of Kim Parent, but it is very likely you have heard her voice. She has graced the stage and made recordings with artists such as Lionel Ritchie, Christopher Cross, Carole King, Reba McEntire, Brooks and Dunn, Aaron Tippin, Kathy Mattea, Jodee Messina, Trisha Yearwood, Michael Mcdonald, and many more.
Soon after relocating from her native state of New Jersey to pursue songwriting in Nashville, Kim was drawn into the vibrant studio recording scene. This included an invitation to sing in televised award shows, appear in live video tapings, to show up regularly at the Grand Ol’ Opry with the Carol Lee singers, and even to be a member of the house band for the wildly popular tv show “The Singing Bee”.
Throughout Kim’s extensive music career, there has been a constant passion in her heart for songwriting, even through the busiest of times. During the height of the covid pandemic, Kim took advantage of the world wide pause, and began to tighten the draw string around her most cherished new and old songs, committing to recording and releasing the best of them.
